WELL DONE!
YOU have achieved so much doing this unit of work! Let's re-cap on what you have learnt:
You are now ready to grow and love the environment and the animals around you. Always keep in mind how to protect and keep our native plants and animals safe so that they remain on this planet for many years to come.
- You are now able to distinguish between an endangered and extinct animal. You are able to identify a couple of endangered species and know where in the world they come from and the type of habitats they live in.
- You can now identify 6 main causes why animals become endangered and extinct.
- You are aware of what campaigns are out there in Victoria and Australia that are helping endangered species, their habitats and other endangered environments and know just how much money, time and effort goes into a conservation project or campaign.
- Independently and working with others in your class, you have been able to take action and promote endangered species awareness to your local school community. If you have at least one person read your poster and follow your actions you have been SUCCESSFUL, every little bit of help counts!
- You have expanded vocabulary immensely, learning new words and meanings that you probably have never heard or use very often.
- Lastly, you should now be more aware of the actions you take on a daily basis and be able to identify whether or not your actions are impacting the environment and its native animals in a positive or negative way.
You are now ready to grow and love the environment and the animals around you. Always keep in mind how to protect and keep our native plants and animals safe so that they remain on this planet for many years to come.
